Cathy Chamberlin, age 62 of Dothan passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her residence under the care of Encompass Hospice, surrounded by her family and friends.

Celebration of Life services at 1PM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Chapel of the Angels at Family First Funeral & Cremation Care. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon (CST) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter in Cathy’s name.

Cathy was born March 11, 1956 in Port St. Joe, Florida to the late Albert and Hazel Ingram Blackburn. She was a 1974 graduate of Port St. Joe High School. For over 25 years, Cathy was the manager at Pockets Lounge and Grill in Dothan. She was a diehard Florida state fan, a Seminole Booster and loved Nascar. She also loved traveling and spending time with her family and her happiest times were spent with family and friends at the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Blackburn and a nephew, Daniel. Cathy is survived by a sister (and best friend) and brother-in-law, Elaine and Dale Davidson; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Wayne and Edwina Blackburn, Charles and Joi Blackburn and Mike Blackburn (and his family at Clean and Serene Group); the love of her life, Ajit Kulkarni. She is also survived by her nieces, Anastasia, Karen and Tina and nephews, Robert, Brad, Jesse, Doug, Bo, Tommy and Keith as well as several grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and fur babies (Kiki and Lucy) who she loved deeply.
