Gordon Vincent “Vince” Arnold

Gordon Vincent “Vince” Arnold, age 64 of Kinsey (formerly of Dothan), died early
Monday morning, January 13, 2020 at a local hospital.
Funeral services for Vince will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the
Family First Funeral Care chapel with Reverend Joey Hudspeth and Chaplain John
Gormley officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastside Free Will Baptist Church
Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening
from 5pm until 7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions

Vince was born August 18, 1955 in Dothan to the late Donald Vincent and Willie
Dean Stanford Arnold. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree and spent his entire
career in retail sales. He began with Gayfer’s in 1986 and worked with them until it
was bought out by Dillard’s. His career with Dillard’s took Vince from Dothan to
Tallahassee, FL, Panama City, FL and back to Dothan. He served as Assistant
Manager for several years, eventually becoming Manager of Dillard’s, where he
remained until his retirement. In 2017, Vince began a second career when he started
working at Family First Funeral Care in Dothan. He loved his job because it
allowed him to talk to people, making them feel comfortable and welcome, which
nobody was better at than Vince. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and
family. Vince was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two aunt’s, Mrs. Ed Stanford of Pensacola, FL and Mrs. Joyce
Wahlberg of Panama City, FL; numerous cousins to include Shieba and Daniel
Kennon of Dothan; Mark & Gina Kelley of Dothan, very special friends, Ray Brown, Jonathan Godfrey, Jason
Grace, Allen Gustason, Wayne Jenkins, Keith Lott, Jeffrey Miles, Mike Mobley,
