Jacqueline Strickland, age 65 of Dothan died late Saturday night October 20, 2018 at her home after an extended illness and under the care of SouthernCare Hospice Services.Service arrangements will be announced by Randy Crenshaw and Jason Shepard of Family First Funeral & Cremation Care of Dothan.

Jacqueline was born in Geneva County daughter of the late Jerline Barthlemess and had lived in the Dothan area most of her lifetime. She had previously worked as a day care provider and was of the Baptist faith. Other than her mother, Jacqueline is preceded in death by three sisters Debbie Ballaro, Denise Emanneal and Virginia “Ginny” Beall.

Survivors include her husband Jimmy Strickland of Dothan, 2 sons Chris (Lisa) Strickland of Huntsville, Daniel (Cathy) Freeman of Slocomb, her daughter Heather Nicole Parrish of Dothan, 3 brothers Frankie J. (Cassandra) Barthlemess of Phenix City, Al., Chuck (Mary) Barthlemess of Rehobeth and Richard (Michelle) Barthlemess, Jr of East Stroudsburg, PA, a sister Sharon (Mike) Stewart of Kinsey, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
