James Ray Giles

James Ray Giles, age 56 of Webb died early Sunday afternoon July 8, 2018 in a local hospital after a brief illness.

Family First Funeral Care will be orchestrating a simple cremation as was Mrs. Giles request.

James was born in Lakeland, FL son of the late Melvin Leon Giles and Linda Delores Lee Giles.  He had lived in Webb for the past five years having moved there from Slocomb. Mr. Giles was an automobile mechanic and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife Lisa Ann Giles of Webb, two sons Leon Giles and Fiancée Elizabeth Bryant, Butch Giles and Fiancée Chasitidy Henderson all of Webb, a daughter Lisa (Steven) McMahan of Dothan, three brothers Jackie (Johann) Giles of Five Points, TN Rockie (Jeanette) Giles of Cottonwood, Melvin (Kim) Giles of Westpoint, TN a sister Melinda Mott of Lawrence County, TN and 11 grandchildren.  Mr. Giles was also preceded in death by a sister Barbara Wingate.
