Joseph Clark Obituary

Joseph Daniel “Danny” Clark

Danny Clark, age 70 a resident of Dothan died early Thursday morning April 18, 2019 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday April 22, 2019 in the Chapel of Angels at Family First Funeral & Cremation Care with Mr. Roger McNemar officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.

Mr. Clark was born in Phenix City son of the late Carl Clark and Oma Faye Whitehead Clark.  He had lived in Dothan most of his life and retired after 25 years’ service from Sony Magnetic Products.  Danny had also worked at Harper Dental Lab and most recently worked with O’Reilly Auto Parts as a delivery specialist. Danny had many things he loved in life and some of those were galivanting for antiques with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, reading, music and especially the “Oldies” and coffee.  He also loved football and was a huge fan of the University of Alabama “Roll Tide”.  As you might expect his faithful canine was named “Nick”.  Danny was a member of the West Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a son Chad Clark, and 2 sisters Jean Hughes and Gayle Brackin.

Survivors include his loving wife Terry Clark of Dothan, a son Terrell Clark (Sarah) of Midland City, 2 daughters Carla Clark (Edward) of Midland City, Beth Halford Clark of Dothan, a stepson Troy Beckham of Auburn University, a stepdaughter Kristen Morris (Will) of Dothan, 1 brother Carlos Clark of San Diego, 8 grandchildren Madison, Zach, Andrew, Caden, Ryder, Kingston, Nate and George, also several brothers-in law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Care for the Clark family is being provided by Randy Crenshaw, Jason Shepard and the Family First staff.
