Malcolm E. Kidd

Malcolm Kidd, age 63 of Dothan died unexpectedly Monday May 27, 2019 in Torrington, CT., while there on business.

Mr. Kidd’s wish for a simple cremation is being orchestrated by Family First Funeral & Cremation Care.

Malcolm was born in Whitman, MA., son of the late Richard Kidd and Charlotte Beever Kidd.  He enjoyed a successful career in the plastic injection molding industry and formerly served as general manager of Nypro Alabama located in Dothan.  Malcolm was currently working with Seitz LLC, a custom plastic injection molding company located in Torrington, CT.  He was a competitive full marathon runner having run in the Boston Marathon many times along with other marathons across the nation.  Malcolm, being from the New England area of our country learned to love and become an avid football fan of the University of Alabama.  He also enjoyed golfing and reading.

His survivors include his wife Olivia Kidd and daughter Abigail Grace Kidd both of Dothan, 2 brothers Arthur Kidd (Debbie) and their son Brad Kidd of North Charleston, SC., Vaughn Kidd (Karen) of Bel Air, MD., his aunt Jackie Shoemaker of Laconia, New Hampshire and a very special friend Jim Elliott of Eliot, Maine.  

Care for the Kidd family is being provided by Randy Crenshaw, Jason Shepard and the Family First Staff.
