Milton Ray Trawick, age 85 of Ashford died Thursday afternoon January 3, 2019 in a local hospital.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 6, 2019 in the Gordon City Cemetery with Rev. Billy Gene Dickerson officiating and Family First Funeral & Cremation Care directing.

Mr. Trawick was born in Houston County son of the late Alto Trawick and Charity Dickerson Trawick.  A lifelong resident of Houston County Milton had worked as an Automobile and Tractor Mechanic.  He also loved farming with his family and enjoyed dirt track racing.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a son Michael Trawick, a grandson Dustin Trawick, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include 4 sons Ray Trawick, Allen Trawick of Dothan, Chris (Donna) Trawick, Steve Trawick of Cairo, Ga, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece Delores Butler Murphy of Ashford.

Care for the Trawick family is being provided by Jason Shepard, Randy Crenshaw and the staff of Family First Funeral & Cremation Care.
