Paul A. Painter

Paul A. Painter, age 76 of Georgetown, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan under the care of Kindred Hospice, following an extended illness.

Paul was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 22, 1942 to the late Kenneth Dwight and Gladys Veronica Lee Painter. He faithfully served his country for many years in the United States Army. Paul loved the Lord and his church family and shared his personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ with others often. He was also a gifted musician, playing both the guitar and piano. He enjoyed sharing his talent with others by playing for residents at the local nursing home and in his church.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Christian Grove Baptist Church in Eufaula (5 mile Road) on Sunday, September 29, 2018 at 3PM and all are asked to attend.

Paul is survived by a brother, Kenny Painter and two nieces. He will be missed by his many friends but especially by his church family.
