Raymond Merrill Huff

Raymond M. Huff, age 76 of Dothan died Monday morning August 20, 2018 at his residence after a long illness and under the care of Kindred Hospice.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Kocsis officiating and Family First Funeral Care in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time Thursday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 105 Luther Way Dothan, Al 36301 or to the City of Slocomb Fire-Rescue, 324 South State Highway 103, Slocomb, Al 36375.

Mr. Huff was born in Pansey son of the late Terrell E. Huff and Mary Harrison Huff.  Raymond had lived in the Dothan area most of his life and retired after 51-years’ service with Army Fleet Services as a mechanic on the Huey uh-1.  In earlier years he had served in the US Marine Corps as a Corporal and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Pelham Huff of Dothan, a daughter Penni Gibson of Dothan, 3-brothers Edwin (Bess) Huff of New Carlisle, OH, Robert (Cindy) Huff of Dothan, Jerry Huff of Panama City, FL, a sister-in-law Patty Sue Pelham of Dothan, brother-in-law Jeff (Mona) Pelham of Crestview, FL, grandson Beau Gibson of Dothan, granddaughter Sidney Gibson and a great granddaughter Kyleigh Jordan both of Bainbridge, GA.
