Virginia Willene Townsend

Mrs. Virginia Willene Townsend 88, of Opp Al. passed away at her residence Saturday September 7,2019. She had been a resident of Opp since 1985, moving here from Hudson, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, parents Owen and Beulah Stokes, a sister Maggie Myers and grandson Matthew Voorhees. Survivors include her children, Thomas (Ladelphia), Linda Peevey (Alan), Vicki Voorhees (Mike) and Steve (Barbara). 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Townsends wishes are being honored with a simple cremation.
