Arlice Jackson Obituary

Arlice Montez Jackson, a resident of Ashford, AL passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Southeast Health. She was 67.

        Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 18, 2021, at United Christian Fellowship (208 Lafeyette Street. Dothan, AL) at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Smith officiating. Internment will follow at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2021, at Family First Funeral Care Chapel from 5-7 p.m.

        Arlice Montez Jackson was born in Dothan, AL to Mary Louise Smith and David Fain. She was raised and spent most of her life in Ashford, AL. She attended and graduated from Ashford High School.

        In 1972 she moved to Orlando, FL for a short period of time where she met and married her late husband Mr. William James “Jackson”. She then moved back to her hometown into her home where she has been ever since.

        She worked as a sewing tech at E.T.I in Ashford. She has fostered many children, opened her home to those who needed. She has fed plenty. She departed her life December 11, 2021, at Southeast Health. She is proceeded in death by her mother; Mary Lousie, her dad; David Fain, her husband, William “Jackson: her brothers; Timothy and Bubba Reaves and her sister Sandra Jackson.

        She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter “Shantel” Harris (Andre), her son Jarvis Jackson, her grandchildren; Tyquandria Harris, Jaykeria Jackson, Andre'yah Harris,  Anastasia Jackson, 1 great-grand; Khalanni Jackson, her sisters; Judith Fain (Uncle Critty) Shaon Reaves (Dave), Nadine Fain and Betty Fain, 2 Brothers; Ladon Feggins (Arteria) and Sammie Reaves, Close friend, Diane, and a special Aunt Selector Kirkland. A host of nieces and nephews’ family and friends. A special thanks to the Underwood family for always checking on her
