Asa Joseph (A.J.) Tice

Asa Joseph (A.J.) Tice, age 89 of Cottonwood, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 29, 2021, at his home under the care of Southern Care Hospice and surrounded by his loving family.

Graveside services for Mr. Tice will held at 11am Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Plumber officiating. Military Honors will be rendered at the gravesite.

Mr. Tice honorably served his county in the Korean War as a member of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Tice was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Joyce Hartzog Tice. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie A. Tice; and two sons and daughters-in-law, David A. (Cathy) Tice and Phillip L. (Lissa) Tice; Grandchildren, Allison (Andy) Kenny, Mandy (Jason) Wells, Melonie (Misty) Tice, Joe Garret, Arriane (Donald) Martin, and Sara Shaw. Great-Grandchildren include Peyton (Matthew) Powers, Avery (Ed) Colley, Jackson Wells, Brenden Riley Garrett, US Navy, Tyler Shaw, Kaitlyn Shaw, Sylar Martin, Dylan Martin, and Kieryn Martin. He is also survived by a great-great grand, Cohen Tice Colley.
