Billy Joe Wright, 58, passed away early Monday morning, March 14, 2022, at his home in Daleville. Billy has been a resident in the Wiregrass most of his life. He was born on July 10, 1963, to Lillian (Peoples) Wright and Walter Wright. He attended high school in Daleville, Alabama. He loved Alabama football, Nascar, singing karaoke, throwing darts, and being outdoors. Billy was a proud American who supported the military. His favorite thing to do included spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Lillian & Walter Wright, beloved brother Ricky Wright, and sister Theresa (John) Nichols. Survivors include daughter Hali (Chris) Mason, son Brandon (Kristen) Wright, his three grandchildren Jace Mason, Gannon Mason, and Breeli Kate Mason, sister Dianne Barody, brother Wally Wright, brother Danny Wright (Dawn Knight), sister Louise (Dave) Hargis, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends and family Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for a memorial/visitation at Family First Funeral Care. There will be no other service to follow. Flowers may be sent directly to the funeral home.
