Bobby Lynn Laws

Bobby L. Laws, age 70, a resident of Cottonwood passed away early Sunday morning, August 16, 2020 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Antioch Country Church (off of Antioch Road in Gordon, AL) with Brother John Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 3pm until service time.

Bobby was born June 12, 1950 in Leoma, TN to the late Clinton and Dorothy Stutts Laws. He was the longtime owner of Law’s Roofing and Remodeling Company. He loved living the cowboy lifestyle, going on trail rides and horses. Bobby was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by a son, Jerrod Laws; a grandson, Corbin Laws and two brothers, Mike Laws and Terry Laws. Survivors include his wife, Pat Laws of Cottonwood; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Lisa Laws of Auburndale, FL; three daughters and a son-in-law, Tracy Michelle Feagle of Auburndale, FL, Denise Woodham of Lakeland, FL and Tracy Lee and Shon Townsend of Cottonwood; a brother, Calvin Laws of Leona, TN; three sisters, Emily Franks of Leona, TN, Judy Steadman of Winter Haven, FL and Marty Laws of Havana, FL. Bobby is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Angie Laws of Cottonwood; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
