Charlotte Ellis
Charlotte Ellis age 58 of Newton passed away at her residence following an illness. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 5, 2023, 1 p.m. at Grimes Town Hall with Reverend Edward Douglas Officiating.
Charlotte was born December 5, 1964 in Daytona Beach, Florida to Lester Elks and Clara Mote Elks. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, arts and crafts, motorcycles and Stephen King.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother Clara Elks; daughter Bama Penn (Jason); sisters Margaret Goodwin ( Danny). Sally Lee (Rob); nephew Robert Lee; nieces Kelly Hartfield (Gabe), Cassandra Warner (James); great nephews Gabriel Rister, Nathaniel Rister, Phoenix Rister, Memphis Rister, Cliff James, Jaden Wheeler, Caden Warner, Oliver Brandon Warner, Oliver Lee; boyfriend Jerry Peters.
