Christopher Knight, age 26 of Slocomb, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023.  A visitation will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at Family First Funeral Care Chapel from 4-6 p.m. with cremation to follow. 

Christopher was born February 26, 1997 in Alabama to Clint Kelton Knight and Wanda Gayle Moore Knight.  He attended Ashford High School.  He played football for the Yellow Jackets and received 2 gold medals in 2015 for Top Performer at the All-American Super Combine.  He was a “gentle giant” always making people feel safe and protected while in his presence.  He enjoyed playing video games, watching Alabama football, working on cars, hunting and fishing.  He was employed at MAACO where he did body work on automobiles. 

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather George Burl Knight; maternal grandparents George Williard Moore (Rochelle), maternal grandmother Mabel Jane Antley.

Survivors include his father, Clint Knight; mother Wanda Knight; brother Rexford Warren Crawford; sister Jessica Nicole Francis; paternal grandmother Margaret Helen Knight; nephew Wyatt Francis; niece Jacquelyn Francis; uncle Kinkaid Knight; aunts Tracy Moore, Samanta Sketoe, April Windham, Julia Moore as well as a host of cousins.
