Darlene Shock

Darlene Shock was a loving wife and mother who went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

As a member of Shady Grove CWC, Darlene once served as the Women’s Ministry Leader and the church secretary.

In the community, Darlene was very passionate about advocating for the acceptance and inclusion of all special needs children, inspired by her son, Joey.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband especially on cruises, but her favorite thing to do was spending quality time with her sons. She really enjoyed cheering Joey on at the Miracle League baseball games and Joey always looked for her to make sure she was watching. She also enjoyed being escorted to the movies by Jeffrey on Mother’s Day or any other day he could slip away. Most recently they were joined by Jeffrey’s wife, Heather. She loved spending time with both of them and loved the idea of having someone she could call Daughter.

She will be missed by all.
