Donald A Dickerson

Donald A. Dickerson (known as Curly by all who loved him) passed away on June 20, 2022 after a short illness at Southeast Health Hospital. He was 67 years old.

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord-2 Corinthians 5:8. Even though our hearts are saddened we are also rejoicing in the truth that Mr. Dickerson is not only present with Jesus, but he has also been reunited with loved ones who have gone before us. Two of those loved ones bring twins that were lost to Mr. Dickerson in a miscarriage. We know he has met them for the time and is now forever loving and caring for them.

Mr. Dickerson is preceded in death by his life partner Patricia Harrison, Mother Sylvia R. Strickland, Father Floyd Dickerson and brother Billy A. Dickerson. He is survived by his sons Jason D. Pippin, Bradley N. Dickerson, three grandchildren, a stepson Jason W. Harrison, a stepdaughter Krystal Summers (Joseph), 2 step grandchildren and one great step grandson, a stepfather Shelby G. Strickland, several sisters and brothers, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dickerson has been cremated and the family will have a celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to say a huge "Thank you" to all who loved him and helped take care of him.
