Earline (Lashley) Odom

Earline Odom age 87 of Dothan, passed away late Monday night, September 7, 2020 at Southeast Health following a brief illness.

Earline was born November 6, 1932 in Houston County to the late T.J. and Hannah Dozier Lashley.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She cherished her family and loved spending time with them.  She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking meals for her family.  

Funeral services for Earline will be held in Family First Funeral Care Chapel at 3 pm Thursday, September 10, 2020 with Pastor Franklin Woods officiating.  Visitation will begin one-hour prior to service time.  Flowers will be accepted. 

In addition to her parents, Earline is preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Espy” Odom, a sister Juanita Lord; three brothers T.J. Lashley, JR, R.V. Lashley, and Eugene Lashley.   Survivors include her son Espy (Wanda) Odom of Dothan; two daughters Judy (Henry) Culver of Cowarts, Rhonda (Tim) Hawkins of Dothan.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Wendi Odom Money (Paul), Heath (Brenna) Odom, Hunter Hawkins, Amy Hawkins, Ashley Hawkins all of Dothan, Hank (Renee) Culver of Wicksburg, Mike (Donna) Culver of Wicksburg, Kimberly Culver of Geneva; three great grandchildren Luke, Isaac and Jacob Odom all of Dothan; four sisters-in-law, Earline Efurd of Dothan, Bobbie Cook of Dothan, Bernice Odom of Dothan, and Eunice Odom of Marianna, Fl. Also numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Bill Varnum.
