Elizabeth Ann York

Elizabeth Ann York, age 78 of Dothan passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Extendicare.  A funeral service will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Family First Funeral Care Chapel with visitation beginning at 1p.m. with Chaplain John Gormley officiating. 

Elizabeth was born November 18, 1942 to Henry Fletcher York, Sr and Katie Florence Smith York. 

Elizabeth was disabled due to scoliosis but was always happy and had a smile on her face.  She loved to be around people and laugh.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and listening to country and gospel music. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Henry F. York, Jr, Kara York, Holmes McGuire York; sisters Faye Cobia, Kate Bell, Sara Wilbourne, Jacqueline Lane, Mary Edmondson and Martha Hasty.  She is survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
