Faron Keith Waln

Faron Keith Waln, age 62 of Dothan, passed away Friday evening, March 13, 2020 in a local Dothan hospital following a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2pm at Shady Grove Congregational Holiness Church (355 S. County Road 75, Pansey) with Reverend Pastor Judy Dyson officiating.

Keith was born August 3, 1957 in Geneva to Glenn Waln and the late Hilda C. Waln. At a young age he joined and honorably served our county in the United States Navy. For many years he lived in Denver, Colorado before moving back to the Wiregrass area in the late 1980’s and settling in Dothan where he lived for the remainder of his life. Keith retired as a residential painter.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Waln of Dothan; his father, Glenn Waln of Grand Junction, CO.; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny D. and Shannon Yeoman of Dothan; daughters, Christina Weldon and Renesmee Weldon of Dothan and Candie Hughes of Slocomb; grandchild Jessica Geddings and great-grandchild Zae Robinson; a brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Becky of LA and a sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Jim of Denver, CO. Keith is also survived by three grandchildren, Jonathan Wangle of Birmingham, a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
