Gilbert Andrew “Andy” Hall

Andy Hall age 70 of Dothan passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Funeral service will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, 11 a.m. at Family First Funeral Care chapel with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.  

Andy was born April 13, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama to Waldon “Bud” Hall and Nell Garrett Hall.  He graduated from Dothan High School in 1971.  He was a member of the honor Society.  He was in the Airforce National Guard.  He obtained his Master Electrician and worked at Alabama Electric for many years.  Andy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, camping, and beach trips to eat and shop.  He also enjoyed watching Alabama football and Atlanta Braves.  

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Pamela Keith Hall; son Kory Hall, step son Paul Harmon; daughters Kristie Covington, Kelley Jueckstock (Albert), Kaci Singleton, step daughter Jana Fryer; brothers Bud Hall, Jr (Donna), David Hall (Brenda), Gary Hall (Robyn), Bob Hall (Norma), Bill Hall (Valerie), Geoff Hall; sisters Barbara Reece (Tom), Pam North (Joe), Becky Hall, Marti Burch (Fred);  many grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Joe North, Fred Burch, Tom Reece, Don Waller, Philip Rice and Paul Fryer.  Honorary pallbearers will be his coworkers in the motor division at Alabama Electric.
