Henry Lawson, age 78 of Headland passed away Thursday morning, January 21, 2021, at Southeast Health following an illness.

Henry was born September 14, 1942 in Ewing, Virginia to the late Henry S. and Kathryn Marcum Lawson. Henry enjoyed doing mission work and traveled to Russia and Nicaragua many times.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Johnny Lawson. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Martha Joe “Jody” Walker Lawson; sister, Ina Wilson of Florida. As per the wishes of Mr. Lawson, a simple cremation will take place. A memorial service has not been planned at this time.
