James Truman Fulford

James Fulford age 78 of Kinsey passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.  Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023, 2 p.m. at Family First Funeral Care Chapel with Reverend James Welch officiating.  Family Will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. 

James was born October 4, 1945, in Geneva County, Alabama to Buck Fulford and Beatrice Lamb Fulford.  He worked as a truck driver.  He enjoyed watching Alabama Football, Atlanta Braves, John Wayne, Gun smoke and Andy Griffith.  He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. 

He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Floy Annette Ard Fulford; son James Earl Fulford and his parents Buck Fulford and Beatrice Lamb Fulford; brothers Tommy Fulford, Sam Fulford, Travis Fulford; sisters Pansey Jerdon, Sadie Shelley, Jean Filipiak, Becky Smith, Bedora Bush; great-granddaughter Hayden Elise Mills.

Survivors include son Bruce Fulford, stepson Jeff Arnold (Cathy); daughters Beverly Burbank, Rebecca Welch (James), stepdaughter Karen Arnold; grandchildren Chad Fulford, Tyler Burbank, Dwayne Welch, Heather Fulford, Brooke Winfield (Zack), Taylor Welch, step grandsons Aaron Arnold (Kristin Mitchell), Zach Adams, Jaxson Adams, Case Arnold, step granddaughters Madison Fitch (Jimmy), Lindsey Arnold; several great-grandchildren.
