Jimmie Porter Obituary

Jimmie Charles Porter age 68 of Dothan passed away November 23, 2022 following an illness. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, 12 pm. At Family First Funeral Care chapel with Pastor Slade Morris officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at 11 a.m. until service time.

Jimmie was born December 15, 1953 to Shelley Porter and Jeanette Terry Porter. Jimmie enjoyed having fun to include singing, dancing and joking around. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Jimmie Porter is preceded in death by his parents, ShelleyPorter and Jeanette Terry Porter.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Porter; children DestinySmith, Eric Brown, Camella Brown, Kenneth Brown, Jammie Brown Rich, Keshia Porter, Breanna Porter; brothersDonald Kenneth Porter (Tabetha), Eric Shelby Porter, Gregory Q (Freddie J) Miller; a host of grandchildren and other family members and friends.
