Sunrise for Johnny Edd  McCloud, Jr. was September 23, 1960, and 59 years later, his Sunset was  Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2019 in a local hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in the Chapel at Family First Funeral Care with Apostle Gloria King officiating and Pastor Jason Batchelor, Pastor Keener Batcherlor and Reverend Tony Wood assisting. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 until service time at the funeral home. Johnny was preceded in death by a daughter, Shaquivianna McCloud, his mother, Betty McCloud and two sisters, Angela McCloud and Diane Reynolds. Survivors include his wife, Sheila McCloud of Headland; a son, Marquis McCloud; two sisters, Ethel (Frank) Carter of Abbeville and Regina McCloud of Ozark; a brother, Issac Lee McCloud of Abbeville; brothers-in-law, Munio Reynolds of Abbeville, Donald (Ebony) Glenn of Dothan; sisters-in-law, Kanisha (Montrez) Wood of Dothan, Sonya Glenn of Dothan, Patricia Jackson of Clopton, Petra Williams of Clayton; Mother-in-Law, Helen Glenn of Dothan; three aunts, Ethel Mae Hunter, Robbie (Roy) Mills and Joyce (Frank) Flucker; two God-Mothers that loved Johnny dearly, Apostle Gloria King and Mary Reeves; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends also survive.
