Joseph Kernodle

Joseph Kernodle, a resident of Midland City, AL, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home.  He was 88.

Funeral arrangements will be held Tuesday May 31, 2022 @ 3:00 p.m. at Daleville Church of God (151 Industrial BLVD, Daleville, AL) with Rev. Don Sansbury and Rev. Frank Weber officiating.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Joseph Kernodle was born October 21, 1933 to the late Glen and Vera Kernodle in Tennessee. He moved to Alabama and married his bride and loving wife of 38 years Mrs. Betty Kernodle.  

Mr. Kernodle was preceded in death by his brothers; Robert Kernodle, Gene Kernodle, and one sister Helen Smith.

 He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Betty Kernodle, Three sons: Gerald Wayne Kernodle, Jimmy E, (Jean) Kernodle, and Jim Lewis.  One daughter; Joanna Kernodle. Two brothers; William Kernodle and James Kernodle.  His grandchildren Matthew (Chellsey) Kernodle, Trent & Kevin Lewis and may other grandchildren, and other special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends that will miss him dearly.
