Juanita Kirkland Gardner

Jaunita Gardner age 87 of Slocomb, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Signature Healthcare in Graceville, Florida.

Mrs. Gardner was born October 10, 1935 in Alabama to TJ Kirkland and Lucille Kornegay Kirkland. She worked as a nurse for many years. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gardner; 2 sons Wallace Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell; 2 daughters Carol Dunn, Tonya Greiner; 3 brothers Cecil Kirkland, LC Kirkland, Duke Kirkland; 2 sisters Robbie Deese, Sarah Green.

Survivors include her son Steven Mitchell; 3 daughters Glenda Dugas, Myra McCloud, Cindy Douglas; brother Billy Kirkland (Gail), Tommy Kirkland (Ann); numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
