Kenneth Delane Peters

Kenneth Peters, age 87 of Dothan, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his residence under the care of Kindred Hospice.    

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Memphis Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Glenn officiating. 

Mr. Peters was born June 10, 1934 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Layvod Peters and Lennie Mae Enfinger Peters.  Kenneth was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp (Korean War).  He has lived in the Wiregrass area majority of his life.  He was a member of Memphis Baptist Church and attended regularly.  He was also a member of the local VFW and Marine Corps League.  Kenneth worked in the Industrial Supply Business for over fifty years.  He loved his family, fishing and spending time with friends. He enjoyed going to Panama City for meals. 

Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Peters.

He is survived by sons Jacky Peters, Terry (Suzanne) Peters; daughter Jeannie (Derrill) Morris; brother Frederick (Dorothy) Petersl nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
