Larry Wayne Enfinger

Larry Wayne Enfinger, age 56 of Midland City, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Hartford Health Care.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, November 22, 2019 in the chapel at Family First Funeral Care with Reverend Kyle Gatlan officiating. Burial will follow in the Dothan City Cemetery with Family First Funeral Care directing. The family will receive friends Thursday night, November 21, 2019 beginning at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, NC 27317.

Larry was born December 26, 1962 in Dothan to the late Travis Lester and Lillian Marie Kleiser Enfinger and lived all his life in the Wiregrass area. For many years he was a co-owner with his brother at Enfinger Body Shop. Larry also worked part-time for over 20 years at Patricia Lanes Bowling Alley. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially Davey Allison and he formerly raced go-carts in his younger years. Covenant United Methodist Church is where Larry attended when his health would permit.

Larry is survived by his wife, Beverly Owens Enfinger of Midland City; two children and a daughter-in-law, Austin and Bailee Enfinger of Dothan and Garrett Enfinger of Daphne; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Denise Enfinger of Dothan; a sister, Linda Arledge of Dothan and a grandson, Rhett Austin Enfinger of Dothan. In addition, he is survived by his mother-in-law, Dolores Ratcliffe of Midland City; two stepchildren, Timothy “Nic” Shirley of Midland City and Charley Shirley of Daleville and two step-grandchildren, Kira Shirley of Midland City and Rhenn Shirley of Daleville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
