Linda Doris (Jerrell) Morgan

Linda Morgan, age 67 of Dothan, passed away early Sunday morning, December 20, 2020, at Southeast Health.

Services have been provided by Family First Funeral Care, and a private memorial service will be held for the family.

Linda was born on September 5, 1953, in Birmingham to the late Charles and Marjorie Sanderson Jerrell, Jr. Most of her life was spent in Birmingham until she moved to Dothan in February of 2019. She enjoyed singing hymns and worship songs to praise Jesus.  She also enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles, and helping her family. Linda had a love for God and her family that was evident in her daily life to everyone who knew her. In addition to being a very loving and devoted mother, Linda was also an extraordinary wife. She exhibited in her life what the Scripture states in Proverbs 31:29, “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Linda influenced many children and youth for the Lord throughout her years of service to her church.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but she will remain in our hearts forever.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Mike Morgan of Dothan; her children, Michele Redmond (Seth) of Dothan, Jeff Morgan (Meredith) of Oneonta, and Jenny Nicholson (Dan) of Dothan. Linda is also survived by ten grandchildren that will miss her very much, Mallory, Maggy, Cheyanne, Molli, Jake, Caleb, Izabella, Jay, Ainsley, and Luke.
