Lori Bolinger Obituary

Lori Ann Bolinger

Ms. Lori Ann Bolinger age 60 of Midland City, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on

Monday April 10th of 2023. She was born May 8th, 1962 in Dothan AL. Proceeded in death by

her parents, Billy Jim Edmondson and Mary Lou York; as well as, her Aunt Ms. Elizabeth Ann

York. Ms. Lori was survived by her faithful fur companion Ladybug, they spent many wonderful

years enjoying takeout and junk TV together. She was also survived by her sons. The eldest,

Matthew Ryan Granberry, his wife Dawn Granberry and their son Zackery Granberry. The

youngest, Justin Michael Granberry, and his wife Lindsey Granberry.

Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Lori knew she was a diehard Auburn fan who

could never turn down the opportunity to gather around a dinner table with friends and family.

She loved to go and eat, some of her favorites being Shoney’s breakfast and Chinese buffets.

Her love for oldies music and singing along will always be a treasured memory for her family.

Her grandson has shared this love and will continue it for us. Her favorite movies may have

been horror movies, but A Christmas Story was her favorite of all times.

She had been retired for some years, and as we all know disabled. However, this never

stopped her from putting other needs before her own. She was the caretaker for her parents

and aunt for many years. A job she took seriously, and preformed with love. Ms. Lori attended

the Wallace Nursing School, where she found her love for caring for others. She loved her son’s

and even when she did not have a lot, would help them in any way she could. She could often

be caught at any moment singing a song from memory, laughing, or talking about the memories

she shared. She loved to watch tv with her grandson, Zackery, and talk with him for hours.

She loved to make plans with Justin and Lindsey for their visits. She also loved, catching up

with Matthew and find out where in the 50 states he was for work. Her singing and love for

dinning out is a memory we will all hold dear and carry on for her.
