Mr. Mitchell Stanford

 

His beginning:  Mr. Mitchell Stanford was born November 29, 1949, to the late Mr. Warren and Mrs. Annie Lee Stanford.

His religion:  He accepted Christ at an early age and is a member of St. Lewis Baptist Church in Elamville, Al

Mr. Stanford worked at General Motors and retired at an early age.  He enjoyed life and traveling.  He also enjoyed fishing.

The Lord called him home on September 29, 2021. 

 He leaves to cherish his memory Mitchell Stanford, Jr (proceeds in death); the mother of his child Renee Stanford; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Merl Shipman (proceeds in death), Mrs. Annie Pearl McClendon (proceeds in death) Mrs. Ora Dean Slater (proceeds in death), Mrs. Mary Green of Brundidge, AL, Ms. Johnnie Hull of Dothan, AL,  seven brothers Mr. James Ellis Stanford (proceeds in death), Mr. Roy Lee Stanford (proceeds in death), Mr. Melvin Stanford (proceeds in death), Mr. Johnny Frank Stanford, Mr. Eugene Stanford both from Brundidge, AL, Mr. Bobby Stanford of Louisville, AL, Mr. Lomax Stanford (proceeds in death);a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. 

Funeral service for Mr. Stanford will be, Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 12:00 p.m. at St. Lewis Baptist Church, Elamville, AL, officiated by Pastor Roosevelt Glover.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.  Interment will be at St. Lewis Cemetery.
