On Thursday evening, April 22, 2021, God blew his trumpet to call our beloved sister, Marilyn Ann Edwards home to rest.  Born March 11, 1962 in Headland, Alabama to Willie Nelson and Mary Bell Jones.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James (Ramp) Edwards, three daughters, Shawnterra (Edward) McCree, Erica Jones, Tika Walker, all of Dothan; step sones James Johnson, Orlando, FL (Monica Hardy), Desmond Edwards, Dothan; mother Mary Bell Jones of Dothan; host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Marilyn was the third child of seven siblings, Elaine (Rayford) Crook, Satsuma, Alabama, Ricky Jones, Dothan, Jill (Henry) Williams, Foley, Alabama, Rochelle (Anthony) Brown, Enterprise, James (Jammie) Rich of Dothan, Dezario Jones (Deceased), uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. 

Marilyn was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and a friend.  Marilyn was a great cook, loved plants, and enjoyed playing Dominoes with Ramp, as well as party planning, playing spades and bingo with family and friends.  Our sister Marilyn loved life and was a loving, caring, beautiful person and she will be sorely missed.
