Mary Lou  Forehand

Mary Lou Forehand passed away Wednesday,  August 30, 2023.  She was 91.  Graveside services will be held Friday, September 1, 2023. 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Antioch Church beginning at 10 a.m. until service time with Reverend Terry Drinkwater officiating.  

Ms. Forehand was born August 21, 1932 to Andrew J. Hobbs and Willer Aman Hobbs.  She was a lifetime member of Antioch Baptist Church.  She loved her family very much.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were truly her heart.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings Roy Hobbs, Camilea Bruner, Merle Drinkwater, Carrie Mae Cosby; son-in-law Gary Mathis; grandson Steven Mathis.

Survivors include three daughters Rhonda (Jimmy) Smith, Sharon Jones; Kathy Mathis; grandchildren Amy Miller, Tony (Dawn) Smith, Mary Beth Mathis, Randy Moring, Alena Jones (Bobby McCann); great grandchildren Seth Thomley, Layne Tate (Molly Salter), Parker Miller, Austin Outlaw, Emma Spencer, Grason and Garret Moring, Lance (Shannon), Justin (Hali) Philips, Sesalie Mathis (Colby Ingram), Landon Mathis; great-great grandchildren Karson & Jaxon Ingram, Ben & Noel Outlaw and their mother Harley Hobbs, Dawson& Ridge Phillips, Stephanie, Jan, Charlotte and Sawyer Phillips.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
