Michael Bowman

Michael Lee Bowman was born May 10, 1958, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Robert and Helen Bowman.

Mike grew up and spent his early adulthood in Beaufort, SC where he earned his Master Mechanic Certification. He was well known, highly praised and lauded as a mechanic of brilliance.

He married Vicki Cockayne in 1978 and to that marriage a child, Christopher Bowman, was born. That marriage ended in divorce and later he remarried Cheryl Ashley, they had a son, Kyle Tyler Bowman. After that marriage ended he relocated and finally settled in Dothan, AL where he became a member of the Church of Christ in 2006.

Mike really loved the fact that he had gotten to know God and his church family. He attended regularly unitl his health failed. Mike was truly grateful of the relationships he had with his brethren in Christ because he had no family local.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Susan Barton.

He will be greatly missed. He leaves to cherish his memories, sons Christopher and Kyle, grand-daughter Jaylynn, his minister Christopher Saulsberry, special friends David Jacobo, William Porter, Jr., and a dedicated care giver Page.
