Pamela was born March 11, 1960 in Dothan, to the late James and Lillie Mae Britt Boykin and lived her entire life in the Wiregrass area. For many years she worked as a Dietician at Flowers Hospital (Dothan, AL). Pamela was saved early in life and was a member of Liberty Christian Church.

As a Christian woman, Pamela loved making people happy and her great cooking talents were a profound expression of her love and joy. She was known for her cooking talents which brought comfort and joy to people in their time of need. As a self-proclaimed film critic, she often shared her thoughts on the latest Netflix movie or series with her sons. Music was another big influence in her life and she enjoyed all types of music from jazz to blues to modern day pop music. Pamela enjoyed taking “day trips” across the state line to purchase lotto and scratch-off tickets. While winning was always nice, she enjoyed the surprise of scratching the tickets. As a collector of artifacts, elephants were a favorite collectible. Pamela was an awesome Mother to her sons and encouraged them to pursue their dreams. They in turn helped her conquer her fear of flying (going as far as Germany) and provided her with an opportunity to travel the world.

While Pamela was known for and enjoyed many things, nothing compared to the love she had for her boy’s. She loved each one the same, and they all loved her and are going to miss her very much, just as her many friends, family and extended family are going to. Pamela leaves to honor her memory her husband, Jerome Tiller of Dothan, AL; four sons, Isaac Jerome Smith of Ft. Campbell, TN, Jason B. Smith (Ramon Smith) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Brant O. Smith of Ft. Hood, TX and Joshua D. Smith (Bliss Smith) of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; five grandchildren, Isaiah J. Smith, Immanuel J. Smith, Bryson J. Smith, Joshua D. Smith, Jr. and Nehemiah D. Smith. Pamela is also survived by a brother, three sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
