Patricia Ann (Peters) Jenkins

Patricia (Patsy) Ann Peters Jenkins, 79, passed away July 4, 2023, at her home in Taylor, AL after her battle with lung cancer. Patsy was born on April 18, 1944, and grew up in Graceville,
FL on what family and friends called "Peters' Hill.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Family First Funeral Care Chapel with Reverend Billy Joe Holland officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (1117 County Road 17 Graceville, FL 32440.

She attended Poplar Springs High School and later earned her Associate's Degree in Business Management at Wallace Community
College in Dothan, AL. Her hobbies included oil painting and couponing to help her community by often bringing a truckload of non-perishable items to the drop-off locations to help those
affected by Natural disasters or others in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Odell Peters and Ella Mae Brannon Peters, two sisters, Ellen Campbell and Sherry Hagans, and two brothers, Edward (Pete) Peters, and Roger
Peters.

She is survived by her children, a daughter, Teresa Fikes (Stan Fikes) of Hartford, AL, and two sons, Robert Jenkins (Terrie Jenkins) of Fadette, AL, and Tim Jenkins of New York City, NY,
and a sister, Faye Shirah of Slocomb, AL.  She had 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
