Robert Russell McGlone
Robert McGlone, age 81 of Dothan passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 under the care of Dayspring Hospice.
Mr. McGlone was born April 23, 1942 in Kentucky to Clyde McGlone and Katherine Abbott McGlone. He was a graduate of Olive Hill High School. He proudly served twenty years in the United States Navy. After his retirement he worked as a defense contractor for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting and watching Nascar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim McGlone, Clyde McGlone; sisters Judy Duncan, Alice Ann McGlone and Betty Moiser.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Connie Sue Sexton McGlone; son Jerry Robert McGlone (Joyce); grandchildren Erica McGlone, Patricia McCray (Denorris), Patrick Laakkonen (Lindsey), Mason McGlone; great grandchildren Eli Bell, Emily Bell, Caleb Hobbs, Brent Hobbs; brother Joe McGlone.
