Sarah Adeline Riser
Sarah Riser, age 83, a resident of Dothan passed away Tuesday evening, August 18, 2020 at Southeast Health. Due to COVID-19, there will not be a visitation. A memorial service will be at a later time.
Mrs. Riser was the widow of Joe D. Riser, Sr. She was born in Georgetown, Ga to the late Eva and Lynwood Carter. In addition, she was preceded in death by her daughter Debra (Franco) O’lite, sister, Ruby Vanwyken, brother Durwood Webb, She is survived by her children Sandra (Wayne) Fraley of Dothan, Joe Riser, Jr of Enterprise, Carol (Rodger) Singletary of Vienna, GA, William Dennis of Charlotte, NC, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a brother Ellis Webb.
She was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church where she was a member of Ruth Meadows Sunday School Class. She loved her family dearly, but her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed game shows, reading, watching squirrels and birds.
