Shirley Anne Mock Thomas

Shirley Anne Mock Thomas, age 64 of Cairo, GA, passed away Thursday
evening, June 25, 2020 at Southeast Health following an extended
illness.

A graveside remembrance service will be held at 10am Saturday, July 4,
2020 at White Bridge Cemetery in Colquitt, GA.

Shirley was born June 30, 1955, to the late Walter and Berta Inez
Addison Mock in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked for many years as a
customer service representative. More than anything else, she was a
caregiver to many and devoted her life to her family and was of the
Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by a
great-granddaughter. Left to cherish her memories are a son, John
Peterman (Summer) of Ochlocknee, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Danelle Holder (Michael) of Bartow, FL and Denise Maddox (Todd) of
Cairo, GA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John Mock (Diane) of
Florida, Mike Mock (Becky) of Georgia and David Mock (Stephanie) of
Georgia; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Elaine Sheffield of Florida
and Theresa Henderson (Tony) of Georgia. Also surviving are
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins and other family.
