Stephen Thomas “Chico” Turner

Stephen Turner, age 84 of Dothan, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Steve was born May 11, 1939 in New York to William Turner and Edith Mary Wimsey Turner. 

Steve had a love for antique and vintage muscle cars, as well as a passion for music. 

He was a storyteller, jokester and loved to make people laugh. Steve had a gift of befriending everyone he met. His love and laughter were endless.

Steve is preceded in his death by his parents, one son and one daughter.

Those still here, surrounded by his love include; his wife, Sarah Turner. Steve and Sarah were married for 8 years; however, they shared an undeniable love for one another for 50 years and were blessed to share a lifetime of love and laughter, creating memories she will cherish forever.

His daughters, Heidi Grotelueschen (Brandon), Stephanie Ann Phillips, Ami Merrick, Heather Beebe and Shannon Robertson.

His sons, Jeff Beebe (Tina), Adam Beebe (Heather), Dan Beebe, Michael Beebe and Joshua Beebe. 

His brother Jesse Turner (Suraiya "Blue), Sister-in-law Cheryl Magaw (Rick), and nephew Kenneth Turner (Smokey), who was always like a son to him. 

In addition, Steve has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. 

Steve was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. All who knew him, were more than blessed to have him in their lives.

We will miss you immensely and will carry you in our hearts forever.
