Steven Lamar Jenkins

 Steven Lamar Jenkins age 46 of Dothan, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 24, 2021 at Southeast Health after suffering an apparent heart attack. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 29, 2021 in the Family First Funeral Care Chapel from 2-4 p.m.

Steven was born March 24, 1975 to Robert Haston Jenkins, Sr and Lucy German Jenkins Palmer. Steven was a 1993 graduate of Rehobeth High School where he played on the football team and baseball team. He proudly wore the #14 jersey throughout his High School years. His son Brandon wore the #14 jersey during his school years in honor of his Dad.

Steven was a hard worker and enjoyed fishing, bingo, country music and watching Alabama Football. ROLL TIDE! He had a great love for his children and always brought laughter when he was around.

Steven is preceded in death by his father, Robert Haston Jenkins, Sr and a brother Hayward Jenkins. He is survived by his 3 sons, Brandon Jenkins (Hannah Keating), Junah Jenkins, Julian Jenkins; granddaughter Kara Jenkins; brothers Haston Jenkins, Jr. (Marcie), John Daniel Jenkins (Charlotte); nephew Paxton Jenkins; niece Merideth Jenkins, Yahnna Cunningham (Michael), Dejanira Wagoner (Arron); great nephew Bentley Cunningham; great nieces Arizona Jenkins, Rosabella Wagoner.
