Violet Edna May Watts Pate

Violet Pate age 57 of Dothan passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. A direct cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chad Hixson officiating.

Violet was born October 10, 1965 in Georgia to James Edggy Watts and Essie Harris Watts. She lived majority of her life in Georgia. She spent the last 17 years in Dothan, Alabama. She was an avid member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing games on her phone, coloring, shopping, watching TV and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandmother Eliza Elizabeth Gilley; grandfather Henry Harris; brothers Billy Zachary, Joe Zachary, siters Marion Zachary, Marie Zachary, Daisy Bolden.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Timothy Pate; son Kenneth Brayn Watts (Jessica); brother William Bolden; sister Mary Elizabeth Long, Rodie Bolden.
