William Cody Jenkins

William Cody Jenkins went to be with his Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Saturday October 28, 2023 at Flowers Hospital after a sudden collapse. Dothan Police and Dothan Fire-rescue tried in vain to resuscitate him. We thank them for their efforts.

William “Cody” was Jenkins born April 29, 1994 to Robert Earl and Charlotte Tatom Jenkins. At the time of his death he was 29 years old.

Cody lived all of his life in Dothan and his usual occupation was in the food service sector. He was in a constant battle with drug addiction and tried many times to get and stay clean. Cody was a likeable and lovable young man that we will all remember.

Cody was predeceased by his father, Robert Earl Jenkins, and Cody’s maternal grandparents Charles Fletcher Tatom and Dorothy George, step grandfather John George, uncle Greg Watson.

Cody is survived by his daughter Sophie Claire Jenkins, his mother, Charlotte Gormley (John) his sister Kimberly Jenkins, half-brothers Robert (Bobby) and Tim Jenkins and a half sister Teresa Jenkins Fikes and uncles Tom Watson (Aura) and Fletcher Tatom (Jaime), mother of his daughter Tyzerria Roberson and several cousins. 

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 5th, 2 p.m. at Family First Funeral Care, 965 Woodland Drive with The Rev. Dwight Deal and Chaplain John Gormley officiating.
