William Francis Lanier

William (Bill) F. Lanier, age 70 a resident of Compass Lake, FL., died Monday evening March 25, 2019 in a local hospital following a brief illness.

Mr. Lanier requested a simple cremation to be orchestrated by Family First Funeral & Cremation Care of Dothan.

Bill was born in Birmingham son of the late Walter Hayden Lanier and Maude Louise Thomas Lanier. He had worked as a corporate trainer in the electronics industry and was of the Methodist faith. Bill was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was also a Philanthropist for children’s charities.

Survivors include his wife Susann Lanier of Compass Lake, 2 daughters Rhonda Cruz (Michael) of Panama City, FL., Lisa Adams (Don) of Cumming, GA., 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
